The Welcome Plaza provides intuitive wayfinding, amenities, automated ticketing and visitor information areas that increase the experience and ease of navigating the Chicago Botanic Garden. Once a vehicular drop-off zone, the new design creates a pedestrian-friendly space for visitor information, admissions, branding, gathering, events and seasonal display. The new space is seamlessly integrated with the existing architecture and landscape design and acts as a welcoming announcement and orientation to the Garden.
