A completely new work campus designed for The Capital Group Companies on a 34 acre site in southern California consisting of 6 office building, 4 parking garages, an entry pavilion and cafeteria building all connected by a vine covered walkway. The buildings frame a central courtyard with a shady canopy of live oaks. Each pair of office buildings has a unique courtyard space with water feature, seating/meeting spaces, privacy hedges and various intimate breakout spaces. The cafeteria has a lush dining terrace with large live oaks, Tipuana trees, water features and vine covered trellises all overlooking the courtyard. This is a verdant campus with a rich palette of plant material and a variety of both open and intimate spaces. The project was initiated in the Office of Dan Kiley and completed by our firm. The campus continues to be improved and updated on a regular basis in collaboration with the landscape architects Pamela Burton & Co.
